Meet Dr. Tso!
Dr. Vincent J. Tso is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist specializing in maxillofacial, implant, fixed, and removable prosthodontics. A San Gabriel Valley native, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from UCLA in 1981 before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors. During his training at Penn, he was elected into the honorary dental society Omicron Kappa Upsilon and received the Caelus Award, given to the senior graduate exhibiting “the highest clinical proficiency in the concepts and practice of dentistry during clinical training and who has combined art and science with imagination and intelligence.”
After dental school, Dr. Tso completed a hospital residency at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center, where he gained experience caring for medically compromised patients of all ages, with a special focus on the geriatric population. He then pursued advanced prosthodontic training at the VA West Los Angeles/UCLA program, where he served as Chief Resident. He further specialized in Maxillofacial and Implant Prosthodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry (1988–1989).
Dr. Tso went on to voluntarily complete the rigorous clinical, oral, and written Board Certification Examination and is certified by the American Board of Prosthodontists and honored as a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists (FACP).
Academic and Teaching Leadership
Dr. Tso has been a leader in prosthodontics education for decades. He has served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry and at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry. He has also contributed his expertise as a maxillofacial and implant prosthodontic staff consultant at major institutions including:
- USC/LAC Medical Center
- King/Drew Medical Center
- Harbor/UCLA Medical Center
- Craniofacial Team at Orthopedic Hospital
He continues to teach hospital dentistry and prosthodontics at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.

Since 1989, Dr. Tso has been practicing maxillofacial prosthodontic dentistry, and he has proudly served the Southern California community since 1989. Known for his expertise in all phases of restorative dentistry, he has built a stellar reputation for compassionate, skilled care.
